What is BuildReels?

BuildReels is an AI-powered tool that turns any topic into a ready-to-post short-form video. You type a topic, pick a style, and within 60 seconds you have a complete video with AI script, voiceover, captions, and footage — ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.

Do I need any video editing skills?

No. The entire process is automated. You provide a topic and we handle the script, voiceover, video clips, and burnt-in karaoke captions. No software to install, no timeline editing.

How long does it take to generate a reel?

Most reels are ready in under 60 seconds. AI Scene reels (Pro plan) take 90–120 seconds because images are generated on the fly. Pro users also get priority queue access for faster processing.

What platforms can I post my reels to?

The output is a standard MP4 file in 9:16 portrait format (720p). It works on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat Spotlight, Pinterest Idea Pins, and any other platform that accepts vertical video.

Can I edit the script before generating?

Yes — and we encourage it. After generating a script preview, you can edit any part (hook, facts, outro), regenerate individual sections, swap the hook from 3 AI alternatives, and add or remove items. Editing the script does not use a reel credit.

What counts as one reel?

One reel credit is used when you click "Generate Reel" and a video is produced. Previewing the script, editing it, or regenerating script sections do not count as credits.

Do my reel credits reset each month?

Yes — Pro plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Free plan credits are lifetime (5 total) and never reset.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. You keep access to your current plan until the end of the billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Can I pay with crypto?

Yes. We accept crypto payments via NowPayments. When upgrading your plan, select "Pay with Crypto" to pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and many other cryptocurrencies.

What happens to my reels if I downgrade?

All previously generated reels remain accessible in your dashboard and via their share links. You simply lose access to the higher-tier features going forward.

What are AI Scenes?

AI Scenes replace generic stock footage with photorealistic images generated specifically for your script topic using DALL·E 3. Each image is unique to your reel. AI Scenes are available on the Pro plan.

What voices are available?

5 OpenAI voices are included on all plans: Nova (friendly), Onyx (deep), Alloy (clear), Shimmer (warm), and Fable (bold). Pro users can optionally connect their own ElevenLabs API key to unlock additional ultra-realistic voices.

What are karaoke captions?

Karaoke captions highlight each word as it is spoken in the voiceover — similar to how lyrics appear on karaoke apps. Each word lights up in a color unique to the style. This is proven to significantly increase watch time and engagement.

Can I use my own voiceover?

Not yet — we currently generate the voiceover from the AI script. This feature is on the roadmap.

What is the tone selector?

The tone selector lets you guide the emotional direction of the script: Shocking (alarming, urgent), Educational (informative, clear), Surprising (unexpected angle), or Motivational (inspiring, actionable). This is optional.

What video quality do I get?

All reels are exported at 720p (720×1280) in H.264 format — optimal quality for social media. High enough for all platforms, small enough to upload instantly.

How do I share a reel?

From the Done screen, click the Share button to copy a public link that anyone can view in their browser. You can also download the MP4 directly and upload it to any platform.

What is the maximum reel duration?

Free users can generate reels up to 30 seconds. Pro users can generate 15s, 30s, or 60s reels.
